Bruises and strains

Print
Bruises are injuries caused by blunt impact. The blow of the impact causes capillary damage and leaking of blood into the surrounding tissues. Bruises are characterised by transiently present purplish discolorations and sometimes even localised bulging under the surface of the skin. Commonly sustained bruises are not immensely dangerous, but can be very painful and cause a great deal of discomfort.

Strains are painful injuries caused by overstretching or pulling of the muscles. Strains are commonly associated with certain sports, such as football and handball, squash, tennis, skiing and sprinting.
Bruises and strains are very painful and can temporarily reduce mobility.
Laser photo therapy works well on bruises and strains and offers a viable alternative to conventional methods of treatment. Laser photo therapy stimulates cellular metabolism, accelerates tissue renewal and speeds up healing. Its natural analgesic effects reduce pain and clear the bruising.
